Why the Official Picks record doesn't change
The scoring model is refined as the season goes on. Rewriting past Official Picks every time the rules change would make the record impossible to follow, so published weeks stay as they were graded — each week's version is shown on its record card. This page shows what the current version (v2) would have done instead, as research, so the two can be compared side by side.
